1969 Charger Tail Light Lens Screw Size and Thread

Great Saturday,
I'd like to know what the screw length and threads are for the '69 charger tail lights. I've read that the RR are 1 1/4" 8-32. They seem to fit, but some are just a bit snug so I am not sure if they are grabbing or just threading through the residues. Thanks in advance.

I am finding that I do have the wrong screws. I see on a site that they are a larger thread and not a machine screw

I think I used #8 sheetmetal screws for mine.
