Is there a trick to getting the headlight adjuster screws in. I've ordered some from Classic Industris for a 68-69 b body and I can not get them in. I know they are suppose to be a tight fit, but this is rediculous. I've installed these on many other vehicles in the past but never had this much trouble.

They are tight! I took the screws all the way out then pressed them in.

Yeah, I tried that too. I ended up having to file a part of the retainer down, it wasn't on the original part and it was interfering with the piece going in.

I'm having the same issues with my Super Bee. Got my clips from Laysons. I broke one trying to force it in. For the second attempt I filed the square sheetmetal hole a lil bigger hoping to squeeze it in. Still not happy with it so may have to file the hole even bigger to get it flush in the hole. I took the screw out and was beating on the clip/retainer trying to get it in and it's still not flush like it should be.

Wish "the masters" on Graveyard Cars would have shown how they got the clips in that Road Runner they were doing. It seems easy enough, but it sure isn't! Perhaps I need to study the retainer more and see if something should be sanded like the OP stated.........
