that would be a nice one done up :headbang:

Nice ride! Is that original paint on it?

It could be original paint. Someone did remove the vinyl top in the past and painted the top white. If it has been repainted they didn't repaint the door jambs since they still have some of the factory stickers on them.

Pretty sure car is sold, have deposit waiting on balance

would it be a possible member that may have made the purchase :thinker:

it has the RT emblems on the rear quarters so it was a stripe delete car from the factory.
I guess it has been repainted and had work on the quarters in the past, too

Carsten

Yes that's correct. The stripes were added at some point in the past since
it is a stripe delete car.
Car may be back up for sale soon, should know tomorrow, overseas
buyer claims they missed the part on the EBay ad about payment terms being
bank wire, cash or certified check...wants to pay by Paypal or escrow.

I am from overseas and don't see the problem for him paying by wire transfer?
That is what I always do.

I spoke to the guy before I lowered the Buy It Now on eBay to the price we verbally agreed upon on the phone. I specifically said on the phone "deposit thru Paypal and as soon as I receive I'd email him my wire instructions." I guess he didn't read the auction 100% where I specifically said payment by bank wire, cash in person or certified check.
I even was working to help arrange transport to the port for the guy. I've bought and sold a few classic cars over the last 20+ years and many times have been long distance with the transaction by bank wire. I've never had one issue. I even sent the guy a reference for someone overseas who recently bought a Mustang from me. He was set on using an escrow company (and me getting paid AFTER the car left my hands) or using Paypal for the balance.
After talking on the phone yesterday and giving him 24 hours to think about it he went dark.
Oh well. His loss.
I know there are people out there who will pay for the car without any issues.
