Greetings to all and to all who love B-Bodies!! My name is Nardo and I have the proud opportunity of owning the same car twice. I bought it as a 17 year old in 1985 and sold it in 1991. Then one night in 2006 while searching for a truck on Craigslist, I found an for sale add for a 1969 Super Bee and decided to check it out. Low and behold it was my car!! I called the guy who owned it and work out the sale and I bought it once again. I took it apart in 2011 and have it about 85% completed. It is running but I need to get the fuel injection "dialed in". I will upload pictures of the current build shortly but I wanted to show you the car in 1991 and in 2006 when I bought it back. Looking forward to "picking" your brains on interior tips and tricks.

Welcome from Alabama, great story. Pictures from the start, plenty of help here and you will fit in great.

Welcome aboard the mothership ! Neat story and car . Keep us updated on the project!

The funny part was when the man I bought it from who was a co-worker to the kid I sold it to in 1991 bought it really wanting an E-body. He got it running and spent some hours with rough body work to make it presentable, told me when I asked him if we could take it out for a drive that he should drive because I might not be used to the horsepower!. Still not the latest but I will be compiling and sending them. This is about 3 months ago.

Welcome from North Carolina. Great car and a great story!! You're gonna fit right in here. Hopefully you keep it this time.

welcome to FBBO congrats on getting it back

Gorgeous! I tried buying back my 69 Charger... I sold it to a guy back in 92, then tracked him down 25 years later. He still had it, but wouldn't even entertain an offer for it. My Jessica was still just a memory.
I'm happy to hear your story had a happy ending. Nice job!

Welcome from Missouri!!Great story, you're lucky!!

It’s a rare thing to get one of these cars back from our youth....the actual car. Take your time, and don’t give up

Antioch Ca. "my old stomping grounds"
in the 70's & early 80's
on Hacienda Way, it's sort of off, L street area, going west
I still had family there until recently too
my mom & dad & 2 sister use to live there

Here a a few more. In no particular order. I built it has a restomod. It even has A/C and a Magnum 6-Speed. Triple black is a killer and I am not 18 anymore. It gets really hot inside and why limit the fun. Thanks for all the kind words.
