UPDATED Description and Pictures: After pulling it out for a showing and emptying out the trunk, it was realized that both rear quarter skins have been replaced with NEW and the trunk pan has been replaced with NEW. I had never pulled everything out and only believed the one skin had been replaced.

Please read the entire ad before asking questions. I don't need to sell, but decided it will be a while before I get to it as I have other projects that I would rather do first.

I have received the expected "you want what??!!!??" emails. My reasoning for the price is simple - very few unrestored cars are as solid as this. Sure, you can find one cheaper - but then spend $10,000 on sheet metal and labor. Go to AMD and add up what it costs to buy quarters and wheel houses, fenders, door shells, roof skins, inner and outer rockers, trunk pans, floor pans, frame rails, trunk lid and trunk gutters....and then factor in labor, yours or others. Add in the cost of buying a non-smoking, good running 440 or rebuilding a basket case. Add in a real N96 hood and upper plenum....

Non-Original, but great running 1970 (F Code) 440 CI Engine. Maltese cross and X indicates .010" undersized crank. Upside down C indicates special crank from the best I can determine.

Trunk Floor -- New (a bit of scale from crappy paint on it)
Interior Floor -- Solid with the exception of the Driver's Side REAR floor. All there, but weak. (update, Passengers feels solid by there are pop rivets (on both sides) showing through the bottom so I assume someone has added a stiffening piece. You can see the pop rivets in one of the underneath photos but the pan looks good. I did not pull back the carpet)
Quarters -- New Skins
Inner Quarters -- Solid
Frame Rails -- Solid
Front Fenders -- Solid
Trunk Gutters - Solid
Doors -- Solid. Driver's side inner corner slightly rusted (see pics)
Gas Tank -- New
Exhaust -- New 3" exhaust
Seats -- Only rip is on passenger side outer top.
Needs typical rust repair around the back window due to the vinyl top. Lead is out of the seam. I would probably replace the rain gutters. A-pillars need a little work at top, but easily fixable.
Have all tail lights, headlights, bezels (now on the car). In the trunk along with trim, emblems, etc.

All glass is good EXCEPT the windshield is broken

MISSING: Rear Bumper (have brackets) and Front Bumpers (no brackets)

VIN on the radiator support and the trunk gutter all match

Drove it on the trailer. Unfortunately didn't realize the radiator brackets weren't on it, so a little rev pulled the radiator into the fan...that's the ringing sound if I manage to link the video....
This is absolutely the most solid GTX project I have seen.
Odometer is showing only 58,673 miles. While I can't verify, take a look at the lack of wear on the pedals.
No Title, but I have run the VIN through NC DMV and it came back clean. I haven't been able to find the time to go through the bonded title process, but it is easy (just did it on a vintage camper a few months ago -- requires a Form MVR-92H, an inspection, and a surety bond).

I have not found a build sheet in the car, but I have not pulled up the front seats or rear side panels.

I wrote a bunch so I'm sure it was easy to miss - I state under "Additionally" that it is has a non-original Air Grabber Hood and upper plenum.
I must have fat fingered the 917....thanks for pointing it out.
 
This is a Lynch Road car so the tag is read differently. The scheduled production date is May 23, 1969 (523). The 917 is the engine code: 440 4BBL, automatic transmission, heater, 375hp, Orange.

It will be once done...hopefully in a couple months. All the metal work is done, new interior bought, new glass bought, paint bought, brakes and weatherstrip on order. Now just need time to finish.
