I currently running F70-14 Firestone wide oval white pin stripe bias ply.

What would be the correct original spare? Same tire as above or different brand with no white stripe?

Thanks

5 of the same tire came with the car when new. If it came with those wheels, then a steel wheel 14x5.5 for spare.

I believe the standard tire size with a 383 is F70-14, I’m not sure what the P Metric equivalent is. It would be the same as whatever tires are on the car. My GTX still had the original BF Goodrich redline spare when I got it.

I don’t think so, I got the car in ‘82 and knew the previous owner. It had been in the trunk since the mid ‘70’s when he got it. I sold the tire for stupid money to a guy doing a date code correct restoration on a ‘69 Cougar.
