hi

i happen to kink the vent line above the tank. the car started and ran for a min and died.
I realized the vent line was kinked

I fixed the line and tried starting car but it didn't want to start. I did smell fuel in carb so fuel is getting there

I opened gas tank cap to let some air in the tank as well. figured with line being kinked maybe a vacuum effect happed and fuel not getting to carb but that is not the case

Any advice on how to trouble shoot this

Thanks

it was the rubber line between the tank and steel line. The steel line was pulled up into trunk and the rubber line got kinked
