I posted some up close pictures of the problem areas in this thread. They actually make it look worse than it is I think because of the flash. There is more surface rust than actual rust and definitely does not need to have complete panels replaced. I'll do one final price drop to 24k. I've been driving this car almost every day since I got it and it's an amazing driver.

Lots of interest but no cash exchange yet. This car is 100% no disappointments. Mopar time capsule that drives like new!

1969 Dodge Superbee / VIN#
WM23H9G167711

REDUCED TO 25K!!

May trade for 70-74 Cuda

Some pics here http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/my-new-bee.131011/

Survivor car! Matching numbers, 87K original miles, 383HP, 4-Speed, 3.23 open rear, manual brakes, manual windows, power steering.

VIN# matches dash plate, radiator support, engine pad, transmission pad, fender tag, warranty book and broadcast sheet. Original dealer warranty book and user manual stamped with buyer’s name and vin# (Both in original plastic holder). Also have original license plate from 1969.

Body/Interior

Some rust below rear window trim, little rust right rear quarter front rocker, some rust along around outer trunk edges (Middle of trunk is great), crease dent on passenger door and old repair on right rear quarter. Floors and all other areas are awesome. This car was ordered with factory undercoating and it's in great condition (Noted on broadcast sheet). All original glass and stainless in great condition and operates smoothly. One key for door locks/ignition and one for trunk. Nice seats, carpet and headliner. Factory pedal dress up option (Noted on broadcast sheet), original trunk liner, some cracks on dash pad. Dome light comes on with either door, glove box light works, ignition key delay light works (Noted on broadcast sheet), dash e-brake indicator light works, dash reverse indicator light works, windshield wipers work, wiper fluid sprayers work, heater/defrost works. All original factory emblems are present. Original factory Hurst shifter and factory original shift knob. Tic Toc Clock/Tach (Noted on broadcast sheet). Currently only speedometer and amp gauge are working (Haven’t looked into other gauges yet, may be easy fix). Signals turn off after completing turns (Rare on cars of this age).

Drivetrain

Matching number 383HP, Mopar electronic ignition, factory HP exhaust manifolds, factory HP intake manifold, dual exhaust, matching number A-833 4-Speed transmission, stock 8 ¾ rear with 3.23 open gears (Very rare and desirable as they do not reproduce this ratio).

Wheels/Tires

Mopar Road Wheels (Minus trim rings), newer tires with roughly 1500 miles on them.

Running/Driving

Car runs and drives amazing and is extremely smooth. Engine is quiet with no noises top or bottom. Brakes and steering are excellent. Transmission shifts tight. Shifter has zero excessive play and does not pop out of any gear. Power steering leaks a little from pump. Brand new rear axle bearings and oil, new oil in transmission, new engine oil/filter, cooling system flushed, new spark plugs. ZERO leaks other than minor power steering leak. Draws a huge crowd wherever it goes and gets way more attention than any other vehicle I’ve ever owned. It would not take much to bring it to show condition but I love the current survivor look.

When I was cleaning the car I found the original shift knob under seat and it's installed now. Disregard the vintage Hurst T-Handle although it's included.

Can we see lose up pics of the damage on the front fender and passenger door? Closeup of the rust along the bottom edge of the rear window? With that rust showing can we see a closeup of under the trunk mat? Any soft spots under the vinyl roof?

The previous owner was selling this car with all the extra sheet metal. This included both rear quarters if I am not mistaken. Do they come with the car?

Update 6/2/17: I just installed a brand new Edelbrock #1411 (750cfm, electric choke). I have been contemplating this since I bought the car and finally pulled the trigger. Just got back from the first test drive and oh my god did it wake this car up. If I end up keeping the car it's an upgrade I wanted anyways but price will remain the same if somebody decides they want it. Between the spacer kit and the carb it cost around $400. That means you get my car for $23,600! I feel that the car needed it anyways so don't mind passing it along to the new owner. Carburetor receipt and documentation is in the glove box.

didn't get the sheetmetal or extras with it honestly replacing big pieces of sheet metal on this car would be a mistake it's not that bad and would kill the originality. The rust is not that bad and could be repaired by anybody man while retaining all the cars original panels. That's the reason I didn't even want them. I believe he still has the quarter panel, tail panel and trunk gutters available. Again, it would make zero sense to me to do that to this car and would kill what it is. There's tons of these out there with aftermarket panels on them and this one doesn't have to be that way.
