1970 1969 steering wheel interchange

Does a standard 1970 roadrunner steering wheel interchange on a 1969 steering column without issues?

I don't know what kind of issues you are talking about, but the diameter of the 70 column is bigger than the 69.

So the base of a 1970 wheel is bigger than a 1969 and will not fit, correct?

Applications by vendors show 67-69 A&B body same and 70 A&B body the same.
