I am in need of a 1970 single pulley alternator for my 440 six barrell. Only single pulley please.

You may want to verify or let us know which part number you need, it will be listed on the build sheet if you have it. Also recommend posting your build date so casting and assembly date are in line with the build date.

Don't have a build sheet ( Los Angeles ). Build date was 11/6/69. But six barrel engine I think had the higher amp alternators on them, if that helps.

If your really looking for politically correct I would recommend getting in touch with Jim Ridge at Dixie Restoration. Keep in mind that could be a very very very difficult item to locate , and if you do locate one is it a good core to restore? Jim is top of line for alternator and starter work and good man. Don’t expect miracles but he is priceless to have helping you with locating one.
I doubt it has more than a 70 amp or so alternator. Options on the car dictate the alternator capacity and be aware you are gonna drop a grand easy on one! But you get what pay for. Keep in mind that includes buying a suitable core then restoration.
