I have a 1970 Plymouth Satellite non-AC with the standard cluster. I plan to add one of the aftermarket AC kits. I want to run the coolness through factory vents, though. So, I have come across some non-rallye w/AC dash frames for sale. I believe that the dash frames are the same between Dodge and Plymouth B-bodies. Hoping someone here can confirm.

As far as I know, the attachment points are the same but the frames are different between the long, horizontal sweep instrument panels and the Charger/Rallye panels.

...but will the AC vent panels swap over?

I think, but can't prove, that they will.

I'm fairly certain the side ones do, it's the middle I'm unsure of.

The a/c parts do swap rallye to non rallye. Let me know if I can be of assistance as I restore complete dashes.

Thanks for the feedback.

I little more info on my plans. I will be installing a Dakota Digital non-rallye cluster and using the factory AM radio.

70gtx440dana - Would I be correct in that a 1970 non-rallye AC dash frame from a Dodge B-body (Coronet or Charger) would work using the Plymouth B-body's dash trim and AC vent assemblies? Or, should only consider one out of a Satellite/Road Runner?

Charger and roadrunner are rallye dash only in 1970. Very few rallye dash parts interchange with non rallye. Non rallye dash components interchange between dodge and plymouth. No differences in frames between Dodge and Plymouth non rallye. The only difference between models is the 3 upper trim panels. There are pebble grain style & woodgrain style (vinyl overlays). If you need more questions answered PM me and I will provide my phone #.

70gtx440dana - I appreciate the info. I plan to transfer the trim pieces from my original non-AC standard dash onto the replacement frame I buy. I already have the lower dash non-rallye/AC pads and vents on hand for the conversion.
I will reach out if I have any more questions.

Thanks!
