Looking for recommendations on a torque converter.
Manufacturer or specs?
For sure, ask the transmission guy that built your transmission about TC specs & manufacturers.

Believe currently a 2.76 set of gears.
My two B-bodies have 3.21 & 3.23 gears. My '70 Charger 383-4V, 4 speed will get a minimum of 3.55 gears. I won't be driving it on the interstate and so 3.91 gears are an option for me. Sure-grip of course.
I pretty much agree, but I would (off the cuff) say somewhere between 3200 & 3500. A set of 3.91 gears would be fun for sure. You'll need at least a 3000 stall converter and 3.91 or deeper gears
