Hi, I need some advice on the ignition lock cylinder for my 1970 GTX. I saw one on the forum for sale, it's chrome but my old one looks to be matt black. Just wondering if any trim package offered from the factory included a blacked out key holder? I sure appreciate the help. ABE

Never were black on any 1970 mopar. B-bodies they were a satin finish. They were full chrome in 1970 C-bodies.

Correct they are a Satin finish. Black came about in the 90’s..

I sure thank all of you for your input, I checked on Classic Industries site and the lock cylinder they're selling looks to have a matte finish. Thanks again, Abe
