Does anyone know where I can buy this specific font 70 plate? I haven’t found a source with this “9”.

Not the best photo. I have one on the front of my red 70. I have had it probably over 30 years. I have no idea where I bought it from. I want to say it may have been from Year One back when they were the go to source for everything.

I have a “1970” plate on one of my Challengers. Never paid much attention to the styling of the numbers, but I just looked and it has that style 9. I bought it ages ago, 20-25 years back probably. I likely got it from Year One or from a vendor at a swap meet.

After 28 years of pleasureful ownership, my convertible won't be for sale until my estate is selling it!
However, I just looked at a picture of my '71 I've tried to sell off and on for a number or years, and it has the same style 9 as the 70 plate in question also. I likely bought the '71 plate 14 or 15 years ago.
It looks like the 9 has been changed on those too. I wonder why the repro parts vendors changed the styling presumably within the last 15 years?

I did a quick online search of promotional pictures of '70 Dodges and they had a different style plate. Is this silver plate a repro of an actual Dodge promotional era plate? And if so, how was the 9 styled on the OEM promotional year plates?

Is this silver plate a repro of an actual Dodge promotional era plate?

The picture I posted is a car I know. Its owner isn’t available to ask but knowing he’s purist I’d assume it’s as vintage as they came.
