Here is what I know about this column
1. New upper bearing
2. new lower one piece bearing
3. original and 1970 correct turn switch
4. original and 1970 correct key housing assembly (satin) and matched 1970 key
5. Aftermarket ignition switch - has longer red/black wires (can be shortened)
6. Inner lock tube was blasted and painted to look like bare steel
7. Outer steering column - never crushed (NO signs anywhere)
8. Shaft measures proper length - no signs of crush
9. all upper housing parts and tube were painted a semi flat with slight texture
10. new turn signal arm.
Think this is missing, but not sure if all RR got a key buzzer
1. key buzzer warning switch - I can't find any evidence it ever existed in the column
the plastic plug at the end of the turn switch doesn't show signs the wires were ever
snapped in.
I will include a proper rebuild kit for the steering box coupler - but you will need to get the
coupler - not included.
I could not find any issues with the column - lock ring works proper, same for lock tube function.
I would rate the the column a solid 8+/9 : great for a driver or non show car restoration.
$400 + actual shipping AND PACKAGING COSTS at the UPS Store.
