How do you tell if the rearend is the factory born one? I have a 70 Roadrunner w/ a Dana!!

I believe the axle code on the fender tag will tell. For some quick visuals, if the rear end you have now has a drain plug at the very bottom then it's not original for a 70. That's an older piece like 66-67.

Third line from the bottom on fender tag-
A32= Super perf axle package- 4.10:1 Dana 60 Auto trans
A33= Track Pak- 3.54:1 Dana 60 4 speed
A34= Super Track pak- 4.10:1 Dana 60 4 speed
If you have the broadcast sheet it would be there as well. I'm sure others know a better way to tell if it's original.
