Hi Karlee, WELCOME to FBBO. I like your orange B, I always thought they had a wicked looking front end/grill/bumper, like it would eat you alive. I have two Carter 500cfm AFB's synchronized linkage, they were fun back in my late '70's early '80's street racing scene. Accel Super coil and 8mm Fatstuff wires, Mopar Electronic Ignition, solid motor mounts, Thrush straight though mufflers (what did you say), Gabriel adjustable shocks up front, super stock leaf springs with frowned upon in the Mopar fraternity, Lakewood traction bars with the rubber snubbers up against the front spring mount (I was 18). I shifted the 727 TF with a Winters/Fairbanks cable setup in the center console box and the 727 was if IIRC, something built like the transmissions with the stripes painted on them, except I would not have the stripes I was told. Turbo Action/Cheetah rings a bell. I can't remember much about the torque converter. Assembly line 3.91 rear gears turning L60-15 rubber. But that was then and this is now, so listen to what works in todays world. I just had to cover the most ground in the quickest time. Some times the race was over in 20' other times it went a city block or two. I never went up against anybody on the interstate, she had short legs. I just had a flash back, eleven cop cars, unmarked and cruisers as we called them, 454ci Chevys pulled me over one night, that was a hell of a lot of flashing red and blue lights. The good thing was that they did not see us (a Ford) racing, so they only got me for excessive noise. Sorry guys an girls, I got off track.
