Worth a shot.

My ‘71 RR came with a non-matching 340 block, cast in Sep of 70, with a vin stamp of 1B333103.

A block with casting date in Sept '70 would be installed in a '71 model year car. The '71's were already on the showroom floor.

I’m putting out there that I have a 340 block from another car in case anyone is looking for it.
