1971 Charger SE In Reno, Nevada

You're getting a great squirt of gas with the throttle, 1st video you say with a external tank. Are you using clean lines & filter to the carb or other?
Do you know or have any idea on what your timing is set currently at? Someone may have changed it to where your at now. Take a marker and make a line across the distributor and the block. Loosen dist. hold down bolt and move dist. clockwise just a fraction, like 1 or 2 lines worth and see if what happens when starting. Your starter sounds a lot stronger, you must have a hotter battery now? Good Luck

You sir are the winner. Thanks

What'd you do? Tweak the timing? Good Job!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
And people call me a A-hole, they should be ashamed of themselves!

Ya bumped the timing a hair clockwise like you said. Fired right up and idled. Time for a fluid change and new tires and we’ll see if she moves on her own.

If you don't have a timing light, you can spin the dist. clockwise while in idle you'll notice that the idle speed will increase then all of a sudden start to fall off. You'll want to back off a few degrees from that point where it falls off, then lock it down. If you have some pinging while driving, you'll have to back off the timing a couple more degrees until it stops. That should be very close to where you'll want it. Good Luck & enjoy

I did have a timing light but I havent had to use it in a few years. I pulled it out to check timing and it didnt work. Ive only used it a few times and now its dead. Cheap piece of Actron junk. I need to find a quality timing light.

I know that feeling.
