I’ve built this car. This car is NOT a numbers matching. I build cars to drive and enjoy. The whole journey, from car parts and the idea of a car that didn’t get forgotten. The Challenger is 99.9 % completely finished. All of the 8300 miles that are on it, I’ve driven. I’ve driven it on 300 mile trips, feed it gas and drive, baby drive. It has never been trailered anywhere. This car is ready to gas it and go.
This car has been totally stripped, replaced many body panels, primed, and painted Spinnaker white with a black vinyl top. With front valance chin spoilers, side quarter scoops and trunk ducktail spoiler, on the outside, it looks like it’s an RT Challenger with Mopar rally 15”x 7” wheels. It has all factory suspension with front and rear sway bars. The powertrain, from front to rear, a fresh 383 bored .030, over. A small bump up on the cam but not too crazy. Topped with a Fitech 400 horse EFI fuel injection system with fuel pump in the fuel tank. It has a 4 speed, 833OD transmission. It has a dual exhaust system that is an exact factory replica. The rear axle has been converted to disc brakes to match the factory front power disc brakes. The 8 3/4 differential has 3:55 gears with a clutch limited slip.
For the interior it is all blacked out with aftermarket front touring bucket seats with shoulder, lap safety belts. The four speed shifter is a traditional pistol grip shifter. The dash instructions are rally gauges. It has an aftermarket tuff steering wheel. The back seat is a factory bench with lap safety belts. It has a nice radio with CD blue tooth player with front and rear speakers. The side and back glass has been tinted. Now to keep you cool, the AC system has been upgraded to a R134 all new under the hood system.
