I know this as been asked here before.. 1972 charger r/t and 500 tail light paint, I know they are black, but, what is proper paint to use ? flat? matte? semi-gloss?

If its 1972, I think you mean Charger Rallye and not Charger RT. My 1972 Rallye had a satin black finish around the taillights, I think--but it was a long time ago. Someone here will probably have a picture for you. You can also Google 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye and go to images and see what pops up.

Interesting. I believe the Challengers in 72 were like that.
