1972 Charger rear defrost...

Got a 72 charger in the shop and cant seem to find the correct location for the rear defrost switch. The car is a factory defrost car but was missing the switch. now that I have the switch, bezel and wiring I cant seem to find the correct location to mount it. Any help and pics would help..

To the left of the column.

If the car isn't a super high end build I would put it to the other side I used to hit it all the time with my knee in my 4 speed car! Might not be a problem in an auto but still a pain !
But as picture shows that's the correct spot !
