1972 Road Runnder Hood and Fenders Shake!! Help!

The hood latch is in place, but with the hood pins in place, the saftey catch lever has been removed. I took things a step further last night in my search for the cause of the shaking. I decided to check all my steering and suspension components and found the drivers side upper ball joint is loose and the passenger side lower ball joint is also loose... Feel kinda dumb for not looking closer at these components earlier, hoping to replace all the ball joints this weekend as well as the controll arm and sway bar bushings. I will update with my results.

The old diversion tactic -- the undercarriage is rattling but blames it on the topside! :grin:

Glad you could track down some more possible culprits. Your car looks way too tight to be throwing its body panels around.
