The right rear side seat belt has flopped down between the quarter trim panel and the seat. I can tell that the belt is loose. The bolt securing it to the floor pan must not be tight. I'll need to remove the rear seat bottom at a minimum. Can someone tell me how it is attached to the rear floor pan? On one of my older cars, it is a simple push to the rear and lift the seat bottom out. How about the '72 B-Body? Thanks.

The same as your other removals.

Sometimes they come right out with a rearward push and it comes up. Sometimes it takes a herculean shove rearward to get it out. Eat your wheaties and give a shove.

There is a rear facing hook welded in the floor pan. You can feel it under the front edge on either side. Push the front edge of seat towards trunk until it is released from the hook. Can be very difficult if it was installed incorrectly.
