Hello, is it correct that only there were the rear side windows on the GTX and Roadrunner models to crank down?

No, I have had two Satellites, one a Sebring the other a Sebring Plus and they both had rear side glass that rolled down. My buddy has one that the rear don't roll down. I think that is how they determine if it is a coupe or not.

Sorry I had forgotten the Sebrings, with them it was also to put down. Not with a standard satellite, I think

"23" body (VIN- RH23, RP23) has roll down rear windows.

"21" body (VIN- RL21) has fixed rear windows.

Is the body of RL21 prepared for roll down windows? That it works if I have the right mechanics for it?

You need the windows and the regulators plus the mounting parts for the regulators.

...but they will work.

I have the parts to convert my RL21 (purchased here, on FBBO) but am looking for a less scratched up, tinted driver's side glass before committing.

I removed the assemblies from a 71 I am parting, so at least I have some experience.

Had I known, then....I believe the 71 parts would have worked in my 73.

I haven't looked at how the windows are fixed on my satellite. Do I need other windows or is that possible with the fixed ones?

I believe they are different.

Seems silly as a "build and price cost" issue, but they are.

I believe that the fixed window glass will work with the '71 mechanisms that has a separate frame that attached to the regulators. In '72 the regulators attach to the glass itself similar to the door glass
