1972 satellite sebring plus

Pretty good shape id say! Looks like it did come from somewhere else besides the rust belt were in.. Good deal.

i have a hood that came off that car.
the red paint on it was really thick
all the metal on the hood was in great shape
i can probably guess the rest of the car was that way also.

I have not started sanding any of the body parts. Only sent the shell for blasting. You wouldn't want to give me my hood back would you haha.

it wasn't the hood that came on the car originally
it was a air grabber hood
and no you cannot have it back.. lol

the hood had gunmetal blue paint on it originally and
i would guess it was off a gtx because a 440 aircleaner was with it
not a 383 one....
i have spent a fortune on missing hardware, nuts, studs and bolts for it.

Yeah my time for spending on all the little things is coming. But I am no body man so what I liked about this car is it is fairly clean. I enjoy mechanical work so here I go, I'm in no hurry so I figure I can be a little choosy on things it needs and hopefully a bargain lol

Patience is a virtual. and a big plus doin these cars, Taking your time, finding deals, being picky in most cases, all a good thing! Good luck.

Well got it back from blaster on sat. Here is some pictures

Wish mine looked that good to start with.

Anyone know how i can get the roof supports to actually support the roof

Im sure someone here can help with the supports.. I have to say you really are going to town on this.. Its in better shape then i suspected. I found a few pictures of your car from the guy i told you about, Not sure right off how many, as there on my computer at my desk and im not on it right now but if you want what i have for your records, Just let me know... Good luck, it is looking good!

$800.00 blasted and epoxy primed Place is called newbury sand blasting good dude

Do you want these in a email? You will need to PM a address, There is approx 10-12 pictures... Two many for one PM...

Well Its been awhile since I have done anything to the car. But now with the weather change its time to start working on it. I am going to start with the suspension parts sandblasting and painting was wondering best paint to use spray cans good enough or not

I have alot of sheet metal for these cars. Looks like you can get away with patches in most of those areas. I have the cowl drain area patch if you don't want to change the whole cowl plate, which I have as well.

Great looking car. Keep the updates coming.

typical areas for rust - now on to the fun part!

Glad to see you back with it! Or at it :)
