I have a set of NOS 73-74 fenders. NOS is not cheap, but you do not have to fix or repair anything. Just bolt and go, without rust or dents or old Bondo. Shipping would be more than the Valance that we are discussing, but would get you back on the road....
Mark, I sent a response yesterday, but don't see it, so I will respond again.... The one set of fenders I have are new, but have been primed and had the inside covered with truck bedliner. The other still has the factory stencil. Both are new, and ready to bolt on. I was asking $800 per fender for the one that was primed ($1500 for the set), and a bit more for the other one that is untouched....
We could work out a price for the fender and valance together, if the insurance has come through. Shipping is extra, of course, and will not be cheap (oversize charge from shippers on the fender and maybe the valance (might be able to put the valance inside the fender for shipping and save a bit?)...
Haven't heard from the insurance guy yet, but I'll take the drivers fender and valance whatever they come up with. Shoot me a total with freight and we'll get it done. Sorry about the wait getting back to you, interweb was down yesterday
Do you have a preference on shipping agent? I know that some folks use Greyhound for large items (and I used them for a hood for a 64 Fury), but don't think they are real careful with the items (they carry them in the belly of their buses). I assume any normal carrier (UPS or FedEx or USPS) would have oversize charges...
Either ups or fedex would work, insurance got back to me, not what I would bid it at, but enough to get started. let me know total and how/where payment.

I will try to get the fender to UPS or FedEx later this week. Due to the odd shape, it might be difficult to devise a box for the fender. We may end up fully wrapping it in bubble wrap. I will ask UPS for their advise and try to get a basic shipping quote. Not sure if I can ship the valance with the fender, but will see what it looks like.
