Hello

Going to replace my original radiator on 74 Roadrunner 400.

My question is about the radiator mounted (ccegr) valve. Does anyone know what size the threads are to just put a plug in the new one? Or where to get a proper replacement CCEGR (For looks only, Original weeping coolant into vacuum line)

I plan on getting a US radiator which is as close to OEM as possible. I know people say use GLEN Ray but looks like 1974 is not worthy yet. The radiator is not leaking but evidence of many solder repairs on top tank.

Thanks
Paul

I actually just bought one from a dodge dealer in western pa. I think it was 30 bucks. I do believe that the thread size is 3/8 pipe. Possibly 1/4 pipe I would have to check to be sure. Buy one of each in brass they are probably 50 cents to a buck. Hope this helps.

When's the last time you bought brass pipe plugs?

4-6 bucks or more each now.

Lowes or auto pats store should have them though.
