1976 Dodge D100 Adventurer Sport, 318 cid auto 2wd short bed w/ ~64,000 original miles.

New parts: radiator, p/s gearbox, p/s pump, p/s supply and return hoses, dual exhaust pipes/mufflers, Edelbrock AVS2 carb, MSD plug wires, dis. cap and rotor, spark plugs, fuel pump, and belts.

This truck is near rust free. Very minimal. All the typical D100 rust spots are solid, like above the windshield, floor, and rockers. That is owed to the fact that this truck was fleet maintained and performed service in the CalTrans fleet in the SoCal inland desert areas. CalTrans is California's DOT.

Truck’s in San Diego, CA $6,000 firm.

I attached some but I guess they didn’t load. Trying again

I have brand new van (B series) lower control arms that will come with it. Adding van LCA’s lowers the D100’s 1.5” in front and you can do a rear axle flip to even out the rear. This doesn’t slam the truck like a low rider but gives it a nice sporty stance while maintaining good geometry. The van LCA’s have a recess where the spring sits on it. Common modification with these.

More photos for Star. One phot shows the extent of the rust in the bed. While it’s not completely rusted through, there is some scaling and as the picture from underneath the bed shows, there is some pin holes.
I drive the truck every day on my weekends and periodically drive it to work 20 minutes one way. I drive it on the interstate and in town. One problem I have is not getting this Edelbrock AVS2 carb dialed in. That is the biggest issue in the way of drivability. The steering is great now that I have a new steering box and pump on it.
My next step in the progression was going to be to rebuild the front suspension with the B100 lower control arms for a 1.5” drop. Energy suspension makes polyeurethane bushings for it. If I were to keep it I would definitely do the B100 arms.

The rearend is a 9 1/4” with 2.90 gear ratio. It will go fast and straight but it’s not going to burn rubber on a launch. Also, this still has the California compliant SMOG equipment on it. It’s not suped up. Stock 318 besides the carburetor and plug wires.
