Hi. I am helping a friend with his Cordoba. The car is equipped with a power antenna. The car hasn't run in 30+ years and, at some point, had an amplifier/ equalizer installed. He removed all that **** and went with a modern Pionner radio. He is trying to hook up the power antenna to his Pionner radio, but it doesn't work. I checked the diagram, but not sure what sends the signal to the antenna motor. I checked is orignal radio and only has a red wire (power), an orange wire (illumination) and a plug for the speakers wires. I don't see a wire to feed the antenna motor. The antenna seems to work with a module between the radion and antenna, but again, not sure what wire sends the signal to the module. Somebody can help? Thanks!

On newer radios, there is a wire (usually blue) that energizes when the radio turns on and powers the antenna. May also be the same wire that powers your amp.

Post the model number of the radio if you can

I know which wire to use on the new radio, (it is a blue wire), problem is I don't know where to hook it. I can't hook it directly to the motor. There is a module between the (original) radio and the motor. But then again, there isn't any wire coming out of the original radio that sends a signal to that module...
