vin

i tryed decoding the vin on this car. havent found the right site i guess but supposedly its 1 of 1,000 i never really cared though its just a car to me an f-body which is why its so cheap not a really sought after car iguess trying to sell it all season lol

That's a nice looking car........too bad it's all the way in Alaska.

1980 roadrunner

yup 2,000 dollars. and i agree to the alaska comment

There were 496 1980 Road Runners produced and most of those were 6 cylinder cars. It looks like a red interior. What is the original body color?

Roadrunner

Original color was red 496 made huh were did you get that info would like to look into it my self the guy i got the car from was saying it was 1 of 1,000 made i tryed lookin up the VIN but couldent decode it

Hi roadFury87, love the 1980 roadrunner, had one when I was in high school, always wanted to get another. Do you still have this one and is it still for sale? If so where in Alaska are you located? are located where there is an Alaska marine highway terminal. The reason I am asking is because I live in Prince Rupert BC and there is an Alaska Marine Highway Terminal here.

Yup i still have the car it is located in Fairbanks let me know if you need any other info

I knew it was the lowest production Road Runner made and most were slant 6's, but I didn't realize it was only 496 of em. There's ya a scarce car if you want one, it sure don't look bad

curious

Just out of curiosity what would you think this car is actually worth i have looked at other ones and seen them range from 3,500 up 15,000 the only thing this car needs is a new paint job a little bondo on the rear quarter panels. the dash has a crack in it driver side seat has a tear in it missing the audio player other than that its an excellent machine like i said it has a rebuilt 318 375 horses rebuilt 727 transmission with the b&m shift kit rebuilt 8 1/4 rear end only drove this car for 3 months so it has low miles
i dont have any intention of raising the price im just curious
