Hi everyone. I was born a car guy, I don't how because nobody else in my family really is. How I got to be a mopar guy has to do the fact my dad had some Fury's and then a older 63 Dodge 440. When I was maybe 6-8 years old my parents took us to a 4th of july fire works show and it started to rain hard. Sitting in traffic in that 440 we were behind a car that said CHARGER on the tail lights all the way across the back. I thought that was the coolest thing. Later in the early 70's My dad spent some time in Holland and came home and bought a 71 Austin America, then he bought another one and at some point the 440 got sold and I was sad. But in 75 he bought my mom a new Valiant Brougham with a 318. In 79 when I got my licence I was handed down the Austin's and I made one run out of two. After a year or so I had enough of those and went looking for a car to buy. I found a 66 Charger 361, but I thought it was a 383 at the time. Long story short, I still have that car. I built a 400 for it in 81 or 82 and it is still in it. I later bought 65 Valiant 273 but traded that to my brother and he then almost killed himself hitting a big tree. had other non mopar cars through the years. Had a 88 Dakota for while. 2000 I bought a 94 2500 cummins, I still have it. 2004 I bought my first new car a 2004 Neon SRT4, I still have it. In 2008 I was at Houston Autorama auction and ended up with another 66 Charger, a 318 poly. So in 09 I got distracted by motorcycles track days and racing, 9 years later I am about done with that and my body is telling me so. 2014 i bought another cummins, a 06 2500.
So right now I have 2 66 Chargers, 2 Cummins diesels 94 and 06, 04 SRT4 neon. And guess my moms 98 Intrepid that is at the end of the road. I think I have a thing for Mopars.
