Wanting to buy a 2983116 wiper motor between build dates of 3149 to 3289.
Either a restored one or a good core for restoration.

Still has the ink stamp on the gear housing. Rubber seal is "perfect "
Based on no cracking and soft.
Been in my basement for 40 years.
No rust pitting. Probably works fine, but we all know it's going in for a redo.

1969 3 speed wiper motor 2983116 date code 3238 Nice Core. Someone painted it but it's a clean pit free unit. I took some thinner and lightly wiped the collar and the plating is still there. I did not test this unit. The wiring will need to be repaired or replaced before testing. Very Nice core...

Wiper motors do not use Julian dates. 3238 is 323rd day of 1968. Or, November 1968. 3239 is November 1969, 3230 is November 1970.
