The 1966 charger uses a variable speed switch not a 3spd. As you turn the knob the speed increases. I'll be glad to coach you through any problems with yours. I also do switch and motor restorations.

Aren’t the motors the same for both? If so, a 3 speed should work from any 66-67 B body I would think.
