Hi, i have a 65 plymouth satellite and i was wondering what all i would need to do this swap. I currently have the factory 318 wide block out on the ground for floorpans and was wondering if i would have to swap the k member in order to put a 440 or 383 in this car.
Thanks
p.s. I have a 383 k member out of another 65.

Welcome from Minnesota.

Also do an advanced search on this site, there is a wealth of information on the subject. Good luck, Al :headbang:

All you need is big block engine mount brackets and engine and trans. As easy of a swap as is possible.

To clarify, the '65 K-frame is the same for all v-8's save for the Hemi.

You will need BB brackets and insulators for the 383 or 440. Schumacher is a good source or William Cowger is another.

You will also need a transmission with a BB bellhousing.
