318 cu in engine w/ a 1964 Torqueflite Transmission, mated to a 1987 Dodge Dakota rear end.

read the service manual about rebuilding the joint . The pin has to be centered with very little tolerance or you will have a vibration. I a press will work better. The rubber boot can be installed without taking the pin apart also.

Welcome. It's been awhile since I had driveshaft work done at CT driveshaft, IIRC they were in South Windsor then and I had heard that they were sold years ago. I then used Fleetpride in Agawam Ma for something else and IIRC they also had other stores around the area.

Anyways, nice ride and my suggestion would be to have the driveshaft balanced.

Good idea Ron! I’ll be sure to get to a machine shop to get that done. Have a good one! Thanks!
