We are in the midst of changing valve seals on our 64 fury. the left bank was relatively clean for a car that has a 1990 inspection sticker. The right bank has alot of sludge buildup.......and a blocked drain hole. I have cleared pieces of head gasket out......stuck long screwdrivers down it.....the question is that i am unsure of is if the drain-hole curves or is straight.l it is still cloggedi.i have a choice of blowing air down the drain hole or trying to suck it out with a high-power shop vac. i want to run a clothes hanger wire down the hole and free it! will this damage anything? .........we are draining oil and dropping oil pan and cleaning it before refreshing oil and filter and doing another start-up ...........i don't see that the coat hangar will be a problem.............but!!!!!!??????????????? :female:
