i have a 360 short block no heads.i have a pair of heads not sure where i got them casting #2843675.will these work on the 360,i know i have to be careful what heads i use because of compression, anybodies help will be appreciated.

Chances are you will not have to worry about it even if you use a small closed chambered head.
Do you have aftermarket Pistons in the block?
How far down in the cylinder are they?
Is it over bored?
What's the measurement? (Over bored or not.)
If there after market Pistons, do you have valve reliefs and how many cc's are they?
If the pistons are stock, is there a dish and how deep and how many cc's.
What is the intended head gasket bore & thickness?
How many cc's is the intended head?

Enter the figures into a on line calculator.
