Last tagged in 1985, the 440 harvested at that time. Automatic transmission still attached along with other miscellaneous treasures throughout the car.

This 3-fender tag car not a Police Cruiser but darn close. I’m not sure of the original usage.

Please help in the discovery of this long lost, last year for the 440, Plymouth Fury. Here’s the photo evidence. Regards, haywire 440

Possibly some sort of government agency. The certified speedo probably part of a "cop car" package. I once had a 72 Fury that was set up with the handling package and speedo, etc like a cop car. But it had chrome trim, full wheel covers, and two tone paint. Looked like a grandma car. It had originally been a "revenuer car". (Belonged to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.)

I’ll try to get a more complete story when I visit again. I seem to remember the Forest Service being involved. It was a busy weekend and I’m bushed right now. No Pun Intended!

440, special handling... this was a great car when new and could be again if restored correctly.

The Broadcast Sheet should be interesting. I hope it's in the car somewhere.

It looks like a lot of work. I spent 5 years restoring a runner. It would be a shame not to save it though. Thanks for the pics interesting car for sure.

My first car was a 77 with a 360 with a towing package.
Maroon with cream colored seats.
I loved that car.

20 years ago… I wouldn’t have cared. Now… I find it very interesting!

I agree on being a FBI or supervisor's car. Did I miss the vin? but as in my car that does not mean everything whether it is a "K" car or not. My car is a "M" vin code and police like items were added. Keep us advised on further investigation like when you get the driver's door open if it has a property tag on the jam.
