383 forged piston help

What KB piston would you pick over the IC687, and why?

The OP wants +10:1 compression.
He wants to run nitrous.
He going with a closed chamber aluminum head.

Plus they are lighter, and a better ring pack too.

I wasn't aware that they had a forged KB400 in the ICON line, thanks for the 411. This is the best budget choice, IMO, off the shelf!

Really? The Icon piston number has been mentioned 5 times in this thread. And it is not really the same as the KB400 in any way other than the pin size

I got a 383 in my charger with those old Trw 30 over dome pistons and yes they are heavy solid domes. I had the entire rotating assembly balanced. The machinest laughed and said the" bob weight is pretty high on that Mopar what the hell are you building".
