Reminds of the notice I received in the mail from TelMex, the Mexican telephone service provider (I was studying Spanish at San Diego State University and renting an apartment in Tijuana at the time). There was going to be an area code change/addition soon to handle the increase population needs for telephone service. According to the notice, the new area code would be "666", easy to remember but a number i would rather forget. When the new area code went into effect a couple of months later, it was "664".
