I am considering using some ICON PREMIUM pistons in a 451 build. Flat tops, with 4.5cc valve reliefs. C Height of 1.322". This puts the piston .015 below deck, which is where I like them to be. Just wondering how well they work using the wrist pin hole spacer for the oil ring. Looks like it would be OK. They weigh 700 grams with the BBC .990 pin.

That's a well priced piston but a bit on the heavy side for a 1.32 CH, I bought Ross pistons which are 524 gr. Look into those price isn't much more but they are better. My 451 revs crazy fast.

Yes, I've bought Ross pistons before, with a dome top. Worked great! These Icons, without piston pin, are right at 542.
