383 stroked to 431 with a Mopar 557 solid

I've got a .557 in a 440. I built a system for the next motor but I'm using it on the 440 for now. Mandrel bent 3 1/2 pipes to the bumper, with 50 series big block flowmasters. Big ,huge, heavy things, but I love the sound, and no drone. I do have a turn down at the axle set too, with 3 1/2 in/out hooker aero chambers. I wasn't hugely fond of the sound at first, but I got used to it, and I like them now. I'm gonna try the aeros on my mopar, cause I think that pipe setup is 50 lbs lighter than the flowmasters.

Snook, you'll probably be satisfied with the longest Dynomax Super Turbo that fits your car. If you need offset/offset, #17749 is 20" long and will do a fantastic job quieting things down. If you need offset/center, #17733 is the longest they make- at 14" long it will be a bit louder. I just had a customer install them on his stroked 383 and they were not as quiet as he had hoped, but it's the longest 2.5" center outlet muffler they make. If you like the Flowmaster sound, the Super50 and 70 series has a much lower noise level than your standard 40 series. They are pretty mellow without the drone usually associated with FM mufflers.
