Two 4-Speed transmissions found:
1) 9A246789 18-spline
PP8332790 0124
2) 8BI5889I 23-spline
PP8332141 0025
A good friend of mine posted the 18-spline transmission on Facebooks A12 site and was contacted by the owner with the matching engine, which happens to be in a 69 1/2 Super Bee A12 car. He sent the 2 pics below to my friend Wyatt to confirm he has the car.
I will be in touch with him today at some point to discuss a deal. I hope he's as excited about finding the matching transmission to his A12 as I am to be finding the rightful owner.
The 23-spline, is available and is posted on the Rockford FB for $1450.
I would like the owner with the original car with matching engine to the 23-spline, to contact me through PM on FBBO as I am not on FB, with proof of the original matching engine/car. You can also reply to the FB ad.
Hopefully this 4-speed will find it’s match too.
