Still having an issue with my brakes locking up. I figure it’s the residual valve. Ive tried everything to get the damn thing out and I'm on the verge of destroying this master. I’ve heard I can just use a 4 wheel drum master cylinder and that could solve my problems. Any truth to this? Thanks.

First off did you change the proportioning valve when you added rear disc brakes, it will require a different one from what it had.

I ditched the proportioning valve for an adjustable and a mechanical T for the fronts.

You have to remove the residual valve. When I add front disc to the powerwagon, I kept my drum master. But put a screw in the brass seat and pried it out to get at the residual valve. Afterwards I just screwed the brake line in to reseat it
