I have an friend who has a 413 Distributer #2444364 tach drive distributer, dual point.
Wondering if it would fit a 383 or 440 Mopar Big Block-I have no idea-thanks in advance.

Two families of big block are B and RB.
B's are "low deck" 350,361,383, and 400. RB's "raised block" have longer cylinders than the B's. RB's are: 383RB, 413, 426W, and 440 (I have never seen a 383RB). Many parts interchange between the two types, but your taller block distributor is not one of them.

I almost bought two 1959 383 RB blocks. I offered him $100.00 each. He wouldn't take my offer and not worth more than that to me.

It'll fit the 440 but not the 383. But ... why would you want to ?!?!

if interested i have the spacer to fit a 413 -426 or 440 distributor into a 361-383 0r 400 block $25 and the ride

can't you just change the shaft put a 383 shaft in or is something more on a dual point dist

I'd just do the spacer. Make sure the shaft isn't bottoming on the pump drive when installing.

FWIW, this distributor kit came with a RB length distributor and the spacer kit to fit the B engines.....
