WTB 413 max wedge pistons please HNY

hello folks,

It seems a simple thing like finding standard bore 413 MW pistons is really quite tricky?

I would have thought ‘back in the day’ they would have been removed ASAP, and a max overbore done to get to 426 lol.

So any help finding a set greatly appreciated for my 2022 build.

I thought there was a set for sale on here just last week

Hi Mike,

They were advertised as 413 max wedge, but a keen eyed person read the numbers and worked out they was 426 size!

(Standard bore 426 which is the most common set 'as a take out and save' but +60 over 413).

But thinking back the 413-MW was for 1962 only and that may explain their current rarity?
If the bores were rusted or badly worn I would instantly got to the +60 size.
Amazingly this 413-MW block I have is very low miles, probably 1/4 miles lol...
