I’m into another hemi here and I wonder if there’s any one that would have any info on the pistons in this block? They are stamped .030 over L2365 pistons in a 66’ build date block

Look like TRW's number rings a bell. Look the same as the ones in one of my motors. Bought them in early 70's, 12.5's piston to wall spec was .007 to .013. If they are different alloy than mine P/W wall spec could be tighter.

If you do Edelbrock heads those valve reliefs need to be checked for valve diameter (valves are 2.32") interference.

Ok thanks for the heads up I’m considering moving this one along it is a pro stock set up at the moment. May keep the block and sell off all the dual plug stuff and the induction set up just don’t know yet. If it didn’t have aluminum rods it would be an easy decision.

Here’s what it has for heads currently. I’ve pulled them to seal up a water leak at the head gasket.

They are total flow heads

Fran,
They are marked total flow products and have raised exhaust ports. There’s really not any info out there about them other than some post here and there of pics of the actual ones I have.
