Anyone out there know the correct oil capacity with filter change of a 64 street wedge.......just curious because it has an aftermarket dipstick and the oil pan is squared off in the center and looks pretty deep..........havnt had any problems just want some input from some more experianced mopar enthusiasts........thx fellas.......

Try to get a depth measurement from the block to the oil pan bottom. Pictures will also help. Normally, with a deeper pan you'd be fine with 6 quarts including the filter. If it's an aftermarket pan you can normally add another quart. Check your full line on the stick and remark with a file if necessary.

Thx Dave......I took the measurement and it's 7 inches deep......picture included......I changed the oil on the weekend with a new filter and 6 1/2 to 7 Will put the oil level right on the full line.......

You should be just fine. That's the same depth as the Milodon 7 quart pan, which is 7 plus the filter. I run mine with 6 and another for the filter.

Thanks for the info Dave.......I can put that to rest........it's my first big block Mopar.......I'm use to small block Buicks and Chevy...........I got a little concerned about the amount of oil I was pouring into this thing.........
