Hey guys! I need express help.
Will 440 cylinder head with cn.4006452 fit 383 b block cn.2468130?
All tables says that 4006452 heads are 1976-78 400/440, and my b block is
1959-71. as i heard mostly 383/400/440 heads are exchangable, but is it the same with this years?

They will fit. Not listed on the tables because 383s were not made the same years that 452 heads were made. (They will most likely change your compression).

Unless you have a pre 67 engine, the change in compression will be negligible if any. On many GM engines, you can change compression by swapping heads. That is not the case with Mopar big blocks (small blocks too, I believe). As far as factory parts, the '452' head is a good option over the '906' heads because the '452' has the hardened valve seats.

These guys are correct.....and even if you have a '68-'69 (?) 383 with stock bottom end & the pistons stick out of the bores slightly, the 452's still clear just fine.
